Having problems with VTA Try this first

  • Make sure you are not using Google Chrome As your Default Browser. This is how you check How to make Internet Explorer the default browser Open Internet Explorer, Once IE is open, look in the top right hand corner and you should see a wheel. Click on the wheel and choose Internet Options. Under the programs tab you will see Default Web browser. Click on the option Make default, also select tell me if Internet Explorer is not the default web browser. Then Click apply. Please click on the link for a video explaining this process.

-You also want to make sure that you are using the correct version of IE. Everyone should be using Version 9 or 10. NOT Version 11. This is how you check Open IE, in the upper right hand corner click on the wheel. Choose about internet explorer. The version will pop up.

  • If you have IE 11 installed. These are the steps to remove IE 11
  1. Click on start, and choose Control Panel
  2. Once you get into the control panel under Programs, Choose Uninstall a program.
  3. In the upper left side of the screen you will see View installed updates. (Click on View installed updates).
  4. Scroll down and select Windows Internet Explorer 11, and select the uninstall button. Follow the instructions for the uninstall.
  5. Try VTA again.
